The PinchukArtCentre (Kyiv, Ukraine) presents an exhibition of the 20 artists shortlisted for the sixth edition PinchukArtCentre Prize, a nationwide prize for Ukrainian artists aged 35 or younger. Featuring new and recent works, the show brings together a representative selection of artists and artist collectives from all over Ukraine including artists living abroad.

Since 2016, the PinchukArtCentre has been inviting artists with special developmental needs (autism, Down syndrome, mental retardation) to join the "Workshop of Possibilities". There, in collaboration with Katya Buchatska, David Chichkan, Nikita Kadan and Anna Scherbyna, a four-year-long creative journey began.

А two-chapter project in the framework of the PinchukArtCentre's Research Platform. The first chapter presents a solo exhibition by Boris Mikhailov, and the second entitled "Crossing Lines" is dedicated to the Kharkiv School of Photography and its influence on emerging artists. Both exhibitions follow three major themes that challenge the notion of The Forbidden Image: an image that lies beyond the boundaries (The nude, The performative), a "life-drunk" image of society (New humanism), an intimate image that "flutters at night" (Personal romantics).
April 25 - December 27, 2019
Referring to the hit of the Swedish singer-emigrant Ardis in 1994, the international exhibition «Ain't nobody's business» activates voices striving for freedom of self-determination. The collective position of artists provokes a public debate about the controversial relationship between regulatory power and personality. How does our sexuality show itself in modern realities? And does its detection depend on ourselves?
