The PinchukArtCentre will present a group exhibition of 20 artists nominated for the 7th edition of the PinchukArtCentre Prize, a nationwide prize in contemporary art for young Ukrainian artists aged 35 or younger.
Shortlist of the PinchukArtCentre Prize 2022 includes: Mykhailo Alekseenko (32, Kyiv), Yan Bachynsky (30, Lviv), Yuriy Biley (33, Uzhgorod/Wrocław), Katya Buchatska (34, Kyiv), Viktoriia Dovhadze (29, Lviv), Artem Humilevskyi (35, Mykolaiv), Nikolay Karabinovych (33, Kyiv/Brussels), Dana Kavelina (26, Lviv), Maksym Khodak (20, Bila Tserkva/Kyiv), Dariia Kuzmych (30, Kyiv/Berlin), Kateryna Lysovenko (32, Odesa/Kyiv), Kristina Melnik (28, Kyiv), Yevgen Nikiforov (35, Kyiv), Pavla Nikitina (24, Brno), Anton Saenko (32, Sumy/Kyiv), Oleksandr Sirous (25, Kharkiv/Kyiv), Yuri Yefanov (31, Kyiv) and groups: Daniil Revkovskiy (28, Kharkiv) and Andriy Rachinskiy (31, Kharkiv) Petro Vladimirov (28, Kyiv) and Oleksandra Maiboroda (25, Kyiv) and commercial public art (Kyiv/Odesa).
The winners of the Prize will be announced at the award ceremony in December 2022. A distinguished international jury will award the Main Prize of UAH 250 000 and two Special Prizes of UAH 60 000 each. In addition, the winners will each have an internship in studios of the world's leading artists. A Public Choice winner will be determined by votes of the visitors attending the exhibition of the shortlisted artists and will be awarded UAH 25 000.
