    PinchukArtCentre is starting a new recruitment for the educational course "Introduction to the Profession" for young specialists in the field of culture!
    The purpose of the program is to support young professionals in the field of culture and art on the way to professional growth.

    ● to deepen their theoretical knowledge of contemporary art and understanding of the wider context,● develop analytical and critical skills necessary for understanding artistic practices and cultural processes, ● and gain practical experience by joining the main activities of the art center.
    The program will consist of several directions:
    ▶ Course "History of Ukrainian art of the 20th - early 21st centuries."Lecturer: Tetyana Zhmurko is an art critic, researcher, and head of the art research department of the 20th - early 21st centuries of the National Art Museum of Ukraine. His interests include the history of Ukrainian modernism, the art of the 1970s and 1990s, and the creation of an archive of Ukrainian modern art. In 2016-2020, she was a researcher at the Research Platform of the PinchukArtCentre.
    ▶ Course "History of exhibitions in Ukraine. 1970s - 2020s".Lecturer: Oksana Barshynova - art critic, curator, deputy general director of the National Art Museum of Ukraine for exhibition work.
    ▶ Course on the current theory of culture, philosophy, and humanitarian studies.Mentor of the course: Oleksandr Ivashyna - culturologist, scientist, and senior lecturer of the Department of Cultural Studies of the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy".
    ▶ Course on work on the text.Mentor: Kostiantyn Doroshenko - art critic, publicist, curator, and affiliated expert of the Research Platform of the PinchukArtCentre.
    As well as the practical part, which involves meetings with curators and researchers, interaction with the Department of Public Programs, and project managers, and work on individual and group projects under the guidance of the PinchukArtCentre team.
    The study will last from July to December 2024. Meetings will be held live, two or three times a week in the space of PinchukArtCentre.
    Selection will be based on motivation and experience, as well as an additional interview with potential participants.
