“The Edge of Touch” project by the participants of the ArtLab program

On April 30 – May 2, from 16:30 to 19:00, we invite you to the teenage exhibition project The Edge of Touch.

Over several months, participants of the ArtLab programme have been exploring how to transform their personal thoughts and experiences into artistic expressions.Difficult interactions, the boundaries between the inner and outer worlds, and the search for a space for authenticity formed the foundation of their creative work.
The Edge of Touch is a project about how experiences change the way we perceive the world and how reality affects our inner state. It tells a story about loss, misunderstanding, the desire to be heard, and the comprehension of one’s own experience through art.
Over the course of three days, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the exhibition and take part in events created by teenagers for teenagers:
Wednesday, 30 April16:30 – Exhibition opening and guided tour by the programme participants.17:00 – Workshop “Two Faces” by Maria Faieva.
Thursday, 1 May16:30 – Workshop “The Body of Wire: Where Does the Self End?” by Victoria Remiga.17:15 – The Worst Man in the World: film screening, discussion, and workshop. Moderators: Kateryna Tsybak, Eva Shevchenko.
Friday, 2 May16:30 – Workshop “Keeping a Diary: How to Structure Your Thoughts” by Anastasia Tupchiy.
Programme participants: Bondarenko Margarita, Novikova Sofia, Pankova Maria, Polinchyk Valerii, Remiga Victoria, Stogova Olga, Tupchii Anastasiia, Faieva Maria, Tsybak Kateryna, Shevchenko Eva.
ArtLab is an educational programme of the PinchukArtCentre for teenagers aged 13-16 who are interested in art and want to develop a creative community. The programme provides participants with a platform for experimentation, and exchange of ideas, as well as the opportunity to work on their projects and gain practical experience in art event organisation.
