PinchukArtCentre together with the Slava Frolova Foundation will hold an online intensive course for primary and secondary school visual art teachers

From the 16th to the 21st of September, 2024, the PinchukArtCentre and the Slava Frolova Foundation for Development and Support of Young Art of Ukraine will hold the 13th online intensive course for primary and secondary school visual art teachers as part of the WALLFALL programme.
The format of the one-week online intensive includes daily video lectures and interactive Zoom meetings with lecturers, as well as creative individual and group assignments. Participants of the intensive will have the opportunity to join discussions with colleagues and invited experts of the course.
Lecturers will share their experience and approaches to using game elements, modern technologies and interactive approaches in art lessons. Participants will expand their knowledge of contemporary art trends, learn about the specifics of working with children with mental disabilities, and receive psychological support on burnout and conflict resolution at school.
The intensive course will embrace 50 teachers from all over Ukraine.

Participation in the course is free of charge. After successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of professional development.
Speakers of the intensive:
● Slava Frolova, founder of the Foundation for Development and Support of Young Art of Ukraine.● Olha Shyshlova, author and presenter of educational programs for children and teenagers with mental disabilities at the PinchukArtCentre.● Marianna Dzheladze practical psychologist, psychologist at the CISC.● Kostiantyn Zorkin is an artist, works in the fields of performance, installation, puppet theatre, land art, graphics, sculpture, etc.● Lora Litkovska is an art educator, tattoo artist, painter, and is drawn to intuitive and expressive art and naive creativity as a way of self-discovery and expression. ● Lada Verbina is an artist and teacher of children's art classes. She works with various mediums, including painting and drawing, and often uses photography and objects. ● Liubov Makarova is an actress and theatre director, theatre educator, and curator of the artistic direction of education at the "Maibutni" democratic school.● Anna Filippova is the CEO of Digital Original, an independent curator and art critic with a focus on contemporary art, a member of the International Museum Committee CIMAM, a graduate of MIM-Kyiv Business School and Christie's Education.● Khrystyna Zhybak is an analyst by training (Product Analyst at Welltech), a teacher by vocation (at NaUKMA), and a neural network expert by passion for innovation (24/7). ● Nataliia Skorykova is the first certified teacher of the American Jack Grapes' Method Writing course in Europe, founder of the NGO New Ukrainian Voices, curator of literary and artistic projects, editor-in-chief and founder of the Orlando Publishing House.
The Foundation for Development and Support of Young Art of Ukraine is a philanthropic organisation established in October 2012 by Ukrainian TV host, journalist, and director Slava Frolova. The project was launched with the aim of boosting Ukraine’s contemporary art and support for the new generation of Ukrainian artists. The Foundation cooperates with art centres, museums, galleries, projects, and cultural events in Ukraine and beyond, and organises with its own efforts cultural events involving both young and renowned art figures of Ukraine.
WALLFALL is a program established by the Slava Frolova Foundation for Development and Support of Young Art of Ukraine. It embraces varied projects initiated by both the Foundation itself and in partnerships with other foundations, projects, cultural centres, and institutions. WALLFALL aims to draw attention to the challenges of cultural and creative development of the children in Ukraine. It covers support for parents, educators, and the children themselves.
