PinchukArtCentre, in collaboration with the Slava Frolova Foundation, will host an online intensive course for primary and lower secondary school visual art teachers

2-7 June – we invite primary and lower secondary school art teachers to take part in the 16th online intensive course organised by PinchukArtCentre and the Slava Frolova Foundation for the Development and Support of Young Art of Ukraine.
The format of the one-week online intensive includes daily video lectures and interactive Zoom sessions with tutors, as well as creative individual and group tasks. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in discussions with fellow teachers and invited course experts.

● How can we engage children in art and make lessons more exciting?● How can contemporary art help children better understand themselves and the world around them?● How does creativity become a source of strength and a space for self-expression?
During the intensive, we’ll explore the power of free play, the potential of creative writing, the use of modern technologies in the classroom, and approaches to working with children with mental disabilities.Teachers will have the chance to deepen their knowledge of contemporary art, receive psychological support, and gain fresh inspiration to implement new ideas and approaches.

Creator of installations for Burning Man (2023, 2024).● Marianna Dzheladze, practising psychologist, PhD in Psychology, psychologist at the Private Educational Institution CISC.● Natali Skorykova, the first certified teacher in Europe of the American “Jack Grapes’ Method Writing” course, founder of the NGO “New Ukrainian Voices”, curator of literary and art projects, editor-in-chief and founder of Orlando Publishing.● Oksana Sadovenko, art teacher at the children's art studio ART4KIDS, lecturer at the educational organisation “Cultural Project”, author of the baby art book You and Malevich.● Ksenia Malykh, curator and contemporary art researcher.● Lora Litkovska, art educator who believes in the healing power of creative practice and expression as therapy; also an artist and singer.● Khrystyna Zhybak, analyst, lecturer and expert in neural networks.
The Foundation for the Development and Support of Young Art of Ukraine is a philanthropic organisation established in October 2012 by Ukrainian TV presenter, journalist, and director Slava Frolova. The project was launched with the aim of promoting contemporary Ukrainian art and supporting a new generation of Ukrainian artists.The Foundation collaborates with art centres, museums, galleries, independent projects, and cultural events both in Ukraine and internationally. It also organises its own cultural initiatives featuring both emerging and established figures from Ukraine’s art scene.
WALLFALL is a programme initiated by the Slava Frolova Foundation for the Development and Support of Young Art of Ukraine. It encompasses a range of projects developed by the Foundation itself, as well as in partnership with other foundations, organisations, cultural centres, and institutions.WALLFALL seeks to highlight the challenges facing cultural and creative development among children in Ukraine. The programme provides support for children, educators, and parents alike.
Programme partners include: Ranok Publishing House, Antoshka, EdCamp Ukraine, and ROSA, a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of professional art materials.
