Lecture "Art and document" by Ksenia Malykh
We invite you to the lecture of Ksenia Malykh "Art and document" as a part of the public program of the exhibition of Zhanna Kadyrova Flying Trajectories.
Ksenia Malykh is an art critic, head of the Research Platform of the PinchukArtCentre, co-curator of the Russian War Crimes exhibition.
During the event, the lecturer will address the following issues:
● How can artistic practice work with documents?● Can a work of art compete with a document if the document testifies and the art reflects?● About the role of documents in Ukrainian contemporary art and the difference between the work of documentarians and artists.
The lecture will take place on September 29 at 7:00 pm in the exhibition space on the 4th floor of the PinchukArtCentre.
