At the PinchukArtCentre you can find a free library focused on history and theory of Ukrainian and international art of the 20th and 21st.

The library provides the access to the results of the Research Platform. You will also find there Ukrainian and international publications on contemporary art theory, history and criticism, researchers' monographs, exhibition catalogues and a regularly updated collection of Ukrainian and international art periodicals (Frieze, ARTFORUM, ArtUkraine, ArtNexus, Flash Art, ArtReview, Spike, Monopol, NASH, Gallery, VONO, Terra Incognita, 5.6, Krytyka).

PinchukArtCentre library rules
Visitors should:
  1. In order to gain the library user status, fill in the registration form on the web-page or onsite in the library; sign the consent to personal data collection and processing; read the library rules and sign the obligation to comply with those.
  2. When visiting the library, always have their passport or other photo ID.
  3. Have all – both open and limited access – materials taken from the shelves to work within the library premises recorded with the librarian.
  4. In case of revealing damage in books, magazines and other library materials, immediately inform about those the librarian.
  5. Before leaving the library premises, return all the materials borrowed to the librarian.
  6. Leave overclothes and umbrellas in the PinchukArtCentre cloakroom.
  7. Respect silence in the library premises.
Users are allowed:
  1. To enjoy free of charge the library collection, the digital catalogue and Wi-Fi.
  2. To consult the librarian on the library operation and on search of sought materials in the library.
  3. To take photographs of the library materials.
  4. To make proposals with regards to developing the library collection and the library inquiry and information setup.
Users are not allowed:
  1. To take any library materials outside the library premises.
  2. To use photographs of materials belonging to the library collection for commercial purposes.
  3. To make marks in books, magazines and other materials, apply stickers, fold or tear pages.
  4. To change the order of book placement on the shelves.
  5. To talk on the phone or reproduce sound using technical devices.
  6. To bring in and consume food and drinks.
  7. To damage in any way the property in the library premises.
The library guarantees:
  1. Respect of the conditions of the library use.
  2. Protection of personal data from unlawful or accidental access, destruction, distortion, blocking, reproduction or disclosure of personal data as well as from other illegal actions.
  1. In case of infringement of the PinchukArtCentre library use rules, users shall be deprived of the right to visit and use the library.
  2. In case of damage to the library collection and other property in the library premises, users shall be financially and administratively liable.
